Timothy Paul Lipka Sr., age 69, of Bradenton, FL., formerly Columbiaville went to be with The Lord on August 7, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.
Timothy was born June 15, 1948 in Pontiac, to the late Joseph and Betty Lipka. He later married Vicki Schug on December 19, 1970.
Timothy served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp, and retired in 2001 from GM Truck & Bus in Pontiac after 30 years of work. He was a member of The Bridge Church in Bradenton, Florida. Timothy enjoyed Karaoke, country dancing, working on crafts, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Timothy is survived by his wife Vicki, children: Timothy Jr. (Sheri) Lipka, Jamie (Melissa) Lipka, siblings: Richard, Joseph, Beverly Vandagriff, Frank (Ruthann), Johnny, Alan (Connie), Dennis (Jerri), Paulie (Billy) Lehman, Steve (Lorraine), Mike (Sharon), Butch (Molly), Phyllis (Barry) Parker, Arnold Swain, grandchildren: Zachary, Tylor, Brendan, Carson, Hannah, Gabby, and Nick. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ramie Lynn, and sister Marty Swain.
Timothy donated his body to science to help better life for us all. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 AM on August 15, 2017 at Country Christian Church, 5677 N. Lapeer Road, North Branch, MI 48461. Friends may visit with the family 10:00 AM till time of service at the church. Pastors Rodney Sanderson-Smith and Harold Inman officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
