Our Staff

Our funeral home staff is comprised of many familiar faces throughout the communities we serve. Many family and friends find great comfort when greeted at the door by a friend, past co-worker or neighbor. Daniel L. Jansen - Funeral Director / Owner / Manager  
At the age of 14, Daniel began working for the funeral home in Lake Orion where he grew up. After high school he went on earn his degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University.   In 2001, Daniel established Jansen Family Funeral Home in Columbiaville, Michigan where he resides today and serves local families with over 34 years experience in funeral care.  He has served as past president of the Columbiaville Rotary Club, Methodist Men, and is a member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church, Otisville Masonic Lodge Lodge #401, Friends of the Southern Links Trailway, and Tri-Village Chamber of Commerce.

Charles & Janet Riley - Funeral Assistants
Residents of Columbiaville, Charlie and his wife Janet are members of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church. They both enjoy bowling, and volunteering at the Columbiaville United Methodist Church.


Ralph & Charlotte Secord Funeral Assistants
Residents of Fostoria.  Ralph and his wife Charlotte are members of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church.
Ralph is also a member of the Columbiaville Sportsman's Club.


Dave Traver - Funeral Assistant
Lifelong resident of Columbiaville / Marathon Twp., Dave and his wife Dorothy have raised their children here. 
They currently own the Craft Corner / Video Vault downtown Columbiaville. 


Jon Korpalski - Funeral Assistant
A resident of Lapeer, Jon and his wife Sue have lived in the area for over 30 years.  Jon retired from Champion Enterprises,
and is wife Sue is the school secretary at St. Paul Lutheran School in Lapeer.  They raised two children in the Lapeer area and are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church - Lapeer
