Kathryn Ann Jansen, age 71, of Auburn Hills went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 24, 2022.
She was born on September 28, 1950 in Pontiac, Michigan to Kenneth and Ann White. She later married Michael Frederick Jansen on February 17, 1973. She could be found all over Metro Detroit volunteering; from The Boys and Girls Club, to school libraries, to St. John Fisher Chapel in Auburn Hills, of which she was an active member for several years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles of all kinds, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family has fond memories of travelling all over the US in their motorhome with her, visiting friends and family, as well as exploring new places.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Mike Jansen; her children: Jessica (John) Katers and Eric (Kelly) Jansen; her grandchildren: Adam, Leah and Kai; her siblings: Sandy DeLisle, Russ White, Bill Jansen, Tom (Jackie) Jansen, and Jeff Jansen; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where family and friends may visit 12:00 PM till time of service. Rev. Gloria Cox Officiating. Memorials in memory of Kathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
