Robert “Bob” A. Duerr, age 73, of Lapeer died January 30, 2020 at home with his loving wife.
Bob was born November 10, 1946 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Arthur and Anna [Phillips] Duerr. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Bob married Anne Long on June 4, 1970 in Taylor, Michigan. He attended Immaculate Conception Church, and worked at the Lapeer Home Depot for 25 years. Bob enjoyed fishing at his favorite spot in Ludington, collecting models of classic cars, being outside and working around his yard and vegetable garden, most of all he loved spending time with his wife.
Bob is survived by his wife Anne, siblings: Kathy (Al) Stokes, Arthur (Sharon) Duerr, brother in-laws: Sid Insley, James (Denise) Joyce, Dennis (Linda) Long, his favorite niece that was like a daughter to him: Keri (John), nieces: Angela, Kristine, Erika (Jeremy), and great nieces & nephews: Christian, Madison, and Piper. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Loretta, and his dog Tiffany.
Bob requested his body be donated to science in hopes of bettering our lives thru research. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
