Obituary of Lynn Christine DiDominicis

Lynn DiDominicis, daughter of the late Paul Peterson and Marion Lawley was born on January 23, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a graduate of Northern Illinois University. She grew up in the First Church of The Nazarene where she professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age.

 

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Dennis F DiDominicis in February of 1966. This union was blessed with two children David and Cathi. Dennis F DiDominicis preceded her in death on January16, 2016.

 

Lynn was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene her entire life. She loved reading, music, singing, playing the piano, directing summer kid’s church camps for many years, and producing holiday cantatas. She served as Church secretary and Sunday school teacher. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality she touched many lives and was loved by many. She was always the center of attention and was very loving, outgoing, and bubbly. She loved being a teacher for many years and positively affected many children’s lives. She also authored children’s books. Her Christian life was wonderful and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life with her family around her on November 10, 2020 in Burton, Michigan at her son’s home.

 

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children.

She is survived by her children David and (daughter-in-law) Robin DiDominicis of Burton, MI. Cathi and (son-in-law) Michael Oreto (DiDominicis) of Green Bay, WI. Seven grand-children, and 2 great-grand-children; Sister Janet Lenard of East Ampton, NJ; Brothers Mark Peterson of Dyer, IN; Michael Ranahan of Seminole, FL; Robert Ranahan of Lake Worth, FL; Thomas Ranahan of Clearwater, FL; Patrick Ranahan, of Snyder, NJ;

 

Cremation has taken place, and the Family will have a private memorial in the Summer per Lynn’s request.  Memorial contributions in memory of Lynn may be made to the family.
