Newman, Judith of White Lake age 80, surrounded by family, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 7th, 2021.
Judy was born in Michigan February 18, 1940 to Roy and Lillian Artley. She was the mother of 4 children; Mark, Matthew, Patrick, and preceded in death, Michael. She was a grandma to 14; Mary (Mark), Laura, Phillip (Amber), Greg (Candace), Danielle (Keith), Scott, Patrick (Sam), Austin, Keith, Brooke, Taylor, Kara, Jennifer, and Ty, As well as many great grand children, nieces & nephews. She loved spending time with her family.
Judy’s lifelong passion was being a pet groomer and has been serving the Waterford area with her business (Judy’s Happy Tails) for decades.
She touched so many lives through her grooming business. She was always dedicated to her family and friends. Judy’s belief in God allowed her peace in all aspects of her life including her passing from this life to her next journey.
Her wish for her family was this (written in her own words): My only wish is that my children and families all come to Christ as their personal savior and raise their family as Christians, knowing Christ. Commit yourselves to attend church every Sunday, and send your children to a Christian school. Get them involved in the youth program, and get yourself involved in the church. Get into a Bible study, commit yourself to the Lord, walk in God’s path, pray daily, put God into your hearts and he will be with you always. Know that being in the light, the darkness will stay away from you, get going no more excuses. Love, Mom. Though it saddens us, death has no power over those of us who believe in the promise of Jesus Christ, For to accept the resurrection is to understand that death is only the last step on our journey to eternal life!
