Obituary of Cindy Zemmer

Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Zemmer, age 63, of Columbiaville died April 6, 2021.

Cindy was born November 24, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Ronald and Lorna Hess.   She married Thomas C. Zemmer on May 15, 1982.  Cindy retired as manager from the Lapeer Aco Hardware after it closed around 2010.   She enjoyed sewing, traveling up north to St. Helen, shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  

Cindy is survived by her husband Tom, daughter Emily (Christopher) Muto, brother Mike Hess, 2 grand-daughter Kenzie, Eve, and aunt Alice Ferrier.   She was preceded in death by her parents.  

Cremation has taken place, and memorial visitation with the family will be held 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.    Her cremains will buried at Oregon Twp. Cemetery on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM.  Pastor Roger Keur will officiate.  Memorial contributions in memory of Cindy may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital.  Share memories, condolences, and pictures with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com.
