Leilani “Loni” Seay (Altman) 83, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2021 at her home in Imlay City.
She was born to John and Druscilla Altman on September 12, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. Loni graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Wayne State University in 1976, and taught in the Pontiac Public Schools for several years as a special education teacher, retiring in 2014. She married the late George Fleming Seay in 1974. They enjoyed sailing and spending time on Mackinaw Island at the family house. She lived in Saginaw before relocating to her current home on Whispering Pointe Farm in Imlay City. Loni enjoyed being active with the horses, her two grand kids and Wednesday lunches with her close nit friends. She was a strong supporter and donator of the "Keeping America Great Again" campaign, "Wounded Warrior Project" and the "NRA". The type of person who held strong in her beliefs and not afraid to share them with her fellow friends and family. Loni is survived by her son David Keehn and his wife Michelle of Mayville; daughter Martha Denver and her husband Brad of Imlay City; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jenna. A Celebration of Life gathering to honor Loni’s life will be held on Whispering Pointe Farm in the near future.
