Obituary of Diana L. Shaver

 Diana Shaver [Miller], age 70, of Marlette, formerly Caro and Sandusky passed away on July 25, 2021 at McLaren Hospital in Lapeer,

Diana was born on November 6, 1950 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Carl and Nancy [Beers] Dunster.  Diana grew up in the St. Ignance and Cheboygan areas.
After graduating from Cheboygan Catholic High School in 1968 she married Richard Miller, son of Richard and Dorothy [Buchanan] Miller of Cheboygan; Together they had 3 children that all grew up in Caro.  Later in life Diana remarried to Gary Shaver of Caro and helped in raising of his children, Gary Jr., Nicole, and connected with his daughter Amanda McDermott.

Diana is survived by her children: Richard (Brenda) Miller of Vassar, Juliana Armstrong and Michael (Fred) Miller of Florida, grandchildren: Ashleigh (Zach) Fisher, Krystle (Mike) Baslock, Christopher Miller, Courtney Miller, Richard Miller Jr., David, Austin, Liam & Breana Armstrong, great-grandchildren: Natalie and Ezra Fisher, River Stoud, Justin, Jaxson, Lucy and Jamison Armstrong, sisters: Linda Ford Camp of South Carolina, Judi Dunster of Alabama, and Sue Murphy of Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Dunster, grandson Nathaniel Armstrong, great-grandson Warren Pasanski, and 3 great-granddaughters.

At this time the family has chosen to remember Diana in a private ceremony as cremation has taken place, to be held at a special time and place.
