Mrs. Hibbert was one of the most kind and patient people I've known. When I was a child her daughter Jan invited me to go camping with the family. The Hibberts camped in several spots in Michigan, including the upper peninsula. I still have fond memories of that week. I don't ever remember her raising her voice or being unkind to me. I attended the Methodist church in Columbiaville. Almost all of my memories of church included her. Surely she is now in the comforting arms of our Lord.
My heart goes out to the entire Hibbert family.

As Helen Keller once wrote, “What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.” My memories of Margaret have also become an indelible part of me. I came to know Margaret through an amazingly strong and ongoing friendship with her daughter, Laura and family. How incredibly lucky I was. A warm, loving, giving, and caring woman, Margaret always had a smile, a kind word, a hug, and oftentimes a story that would simply lift anyone’s heart. Margaret – I will miss you greatly.

Margaret was the most caring, loving and compassionate person. I am honored to have gotten to know her while she lived at Genesee Gardens and will miss seeing her smiling face daily. My prayers goes out to all her family.

To Margaret's family. When we moved to the area in the last 1970's, my kids who went to LakeVille schools were, as any kids who move to a new school....more or less lost. The first person they talked about making them feel comfortable was the "lady who worked at the school," and that lady was Margaret. Then we found that we were invited to attend her church and that made them happier. Margaret was one of he sweetest ladies I ever met and she and Carl were stalwarts in our church. My condolences to the family. Jo Longendyke
