Obituary of Betty Lou Riley

Betty L. Riley, age 88, of Lapeer died May 9, 2022, at The Villages of Lapeer.

Betty was born December 21, 1933, in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Roy & Gladys (Slaton) McClusky. She later married Albert Riley in Drayton Plains, Michigan, on January 6, 1951.  She was a big part of the First Social Brethren Church in Pontiac where she sang in the choir. Betty enjoyed, being on her bowling league, gardening, working in her yard and casino trips. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.  

Betty is survived by her children: Jennie (Wendell) Shedd, Rick (Ger Lynn) Riley, Peggy Riley, Kerry (Lori) Riley, siblings: Bob McClusky, Barb Sisky, Mary Turner, Toby McClusky, Gary, McClusky, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, dear friend Marge. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sister Brenda Hefner, brother Chuck McClusky.  

Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service for Betty will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, MI on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 3:00 PM.
