Obituary of Larry Sloat

Lawrence “Larry“ Sloat, age 81, of Mount Morris died May 19, 2022, at home surrounding by his loving family.

Larry was born December 14, 1940, in Flint, Michigan to the late George & Margaret [Rogers] Sloat. He retired in 2001 from Oldsmobile in Lansing.  Larry enjoyed, football, sports, tinkering with projects, motorcycles, but most of all he loved barbequing and spending time with his family and friends.  

Larry is survived by his children: Lorie (John) Moore, Randy (Denise) Sloat, Mindy Fox, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Steve, and many brothers & sisters.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
