Obituary of Fred Joseph Rinke

Fred J. Rinke, age 72, of Brown City died May 24, 2022 at the Villages of Lapeer. 

Fred was born September 4, 1949 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Alfred and Ann Marie.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam, and was an active American Legion Member.  Fred enjoyed hockey, all sports, but most of all he loved living in the country with all it offered.   He retired from Bryan Equipment sales in 2018.  

Fred is survived by his wife Kathy of 42 years, children Carson, Nathan, Joey, 6 sisters, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother David.  

Cremation has taken place and Fred will be interred in Great Lakes National Cemetery with a private committal ceremony.    Memorial contributions in memory of Fred may be made to any veterans group or St. Jude's Children’s Hospital.  Share memories, condolences, and pictures online with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com
