Obituary of Leonard John Rightsell

Leonard John Rightsell, age 61, of Deerfield Township died May 27, 2022 at home with his family beside him.

Leonard was born October 2, 1960 in LaFollete, Tennessee.  Leonard was a self taught avid outdoorsman.  He loved being in nature, hunting & fishing with his sons, grandchildren, family, and friends.  He was a tool and die machinist for over 30 years working at Motion Machine of Lapeer and L&L Products of Romeo.  He was a man with a great sense of humor that loved making others laugh.  

Leonard is survived by his wife Chris of 39 years, sons: Travis (Sabrina) Rightsell, Tyler (Sam) Rightsell, siblings: Sandra Lambert, Linda (Ron) Ostrander, grandchildren: River, Arya, Aurelia, Gabe, Mason, Hayden, sister-in-laws: Sue Ulmer, Margaret Ulmer, and many beloved nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Love [Heatherly] Clouse, step-father Archie Clouse, in-laws Dan & Joe Hall, siblings: John Ulmer, Gary Ulmer, Kenneth Ulmer, Edith [Ulmer] Kitts, sister-in-law Mary Ulmer, and his dog Lucy.
