Obituary of Karen June Eden

Karen June Eden, age 77, of Attica died June 8, 2022, at McLaren Hospital, Lapeer.

Karen was born March 31 1945, in Flint, Michigan to the late Floyd & Betty (Harris) Slater. She later married her loving husband Kenneth Eden on December 23, 1964.  In her early years Karen enjoyed traveling, took many craft classes, always baked a lot of goodies at Christmas time; which was her favorite holiday,  bird watching; especially cardinals and hummingbirds, playing solitaire on the computer, as well as  trying to play euchre, Karen was a very giving person; sometimes too giving as her husband would say, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.  

Karen is survived by her husband: Kenneth, children: Michele (Alton) Shepherd, Grant Eden, sisters; Barbara (Charles) Frye, Sandra Candela, Charyl (Craig) Congdon, sister in-law: Dee Slater, grandchildren: Justin (Casey), Jordan, Jade, great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Abby, Alexandria, Jacob, Sadee, Killian, Rachel, Ashton. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Gary, Buddy, sisters: Linda, Sharon, In-laws: Harry & Iva Eden, sister-in-law: Zetha, brother in-laws: Joe and Larry, and her beloved dog Barrick.
