Obituary of Melissa Rose Malaski

Melissa Rose Malaski, age 40, of Lapeer died suddenly on June 17, 2022 

Melissa was born June 2, 1982, to the late Richard and Deborah Dodson.  She met her husband at the early age of 19 and married Raymund Malaski on September 11, 2004, they enjoyed 18 years of marriage and raised 4 children together. Melissa enjoyed being a homemaker, watching television with her husband, shopping, spending time with the family, traveling, camping, and boating, but most of all she loved just being a wife, and mother to her family.

Melissa is survived by her husband Ray, children: Chase Fletcher, Bethany (Dylan) Vandawaker, Jillian Malaski, Joshuah Malaski, siblings: Rick Dodson, Aaron Dodson, Austin Dodson, grand-daughter Helena, her dogs: Mandy, Huck, and Lola.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service 2:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit 12:00 PM till the time of service on Friday, June 24, 2022.   Pastor Roger Keur Officiating.  Memorial contributions in memory of Melissa may be made to the family.   Interment Meadowlawn Cemetery.   Share memories, condolences, and pictures online with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com
