Obituary of Richard Wayne Shew

Richard “Dick” Shew, age 88, of Metamora died September 24, 2022 at McLaren Hospital in Flint. 

Dick was born September 3, 1934 in Sturgis, Michigan to the late Vaughn and Frances Shew.  He married Glorianne M. Gable on December 31, 1955 in Cadillac, Michigan.  Dick served his country honorably in the United States Army, and he enjoyed golf and fishing.   

Dick is survived by his wife Glorianne, children: Gary (Kathy) Shew, Larry Shew, Sheri Jo (Tim) Chritz, brother David (Bev) Westjohn, 6 grandchildren: Jason, Justin, Koryn, Tiffany, Alan, Chelsea, 5 great-grandchildren: Lexus, Ian, Ava, Elliot, and Jolie.   He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Terri, siblings: Phyliss, Mary Jo, and Mike.
