Obituary of Larry Richard McMann

Larry Richard McMann Sr., age 80, of Davison passed October 4, 2022.

Larry was born June 25, 1942 to the late Charles and Myrtle McMann.  He worked for General Motors Truck & Bus for 31.7 years before retiring.   Larry owned a fuel oil business with his brother George and moved to North Branch to his 40 acre farm.  Larry had a passion for woodworking, fishing, and loved his little gardens around his home.  He enjoyed mowing his lawn and took pride in helping others with their yard work.  He also loved country music and western movies.  

Larry is survived by his wife Patricia of over 61 years, daughters: Sherri (Jeff) Borst, Tracey (Robert) Whitman, grand-daughters: Amber Harris, Megan Borst, Gwen Whitman, and great-grand-daughter Kelli, siblings: Lonzo (Taffi) Wiggins, George (Noreen) Wiggins, Ella Conroy, and Merlin Rowley.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Larry “Skeet” Richard McMann Jr., siblings: Alvin McMann, Robert Parson, and Bonnie Urfels.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Larry‘s Life will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where family and friends may visit 11:00 AM till time of service.   Memorial contributions in memory of Larry may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Share memories, condolences, and pictures online with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com
