Obituary of Patricia June Burgess

Patricia June Burgess, age 86, of North Branch died October 19, 2022 at home with her loving family beside her.  

Patricia was born November 21, 1935 in Lapeer, Michigan to the late Francis and Earlda Morey.  She owned and operated Boney’s Pizzeria in North Branch for 20 years, and was a past member of Country Christian Church.  Pat enjoyed her trips to the Casino, playing bingo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family  - especially her grandchildren and friends.  

Patricia is survived by her husband Tim, children: Terry (Renay) Bonesteel, Dena (Val) Stratton, siblings: Francis Morey, Norman Morey, Carmen (Duane) Stevens, Donald Morey, grandchildren: Jennifer, Katey (Jeremy), Brandon (Ashley), Megan (Jesse), Dwayne (Silvia), Journey, Jourziee, Jaxton, Cruz, Ben, Devon, Preston (Jamie), Daniel (Sarah), Amy (Eddie), Joseph, Veronica (Robert), Jennifer (Bruce), 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jack Bonesteel, mother-in-laws Anna Marie, and Ida Mae.  

Funeral service 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October  25, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where family and friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2022.   Interment Attica Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.  Share memories, condolences, and pictures with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com.
