Obituary of Richard Leon Miner

Richard “Dick” Miner, age 77, of Otter Lake went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 7, 2022 with his loving family beside him.

Richard was born March 20, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Edwin and Eula Miner.  He married Susan Holloway on June 27, 1970 in Mt Morris, Michigan.  Richard was a member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church, and retired from General Motors in 1994.  He enjoyed gardening, farming, and fishing - especially at the Two Hearted River on Lake Superior.  

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Susan, children: Kevin (Ann) Miner, William (Kayanna) Miner, Carrie Kamicka, Justin Miner, brother Dennis (Marilyn) Miner, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Jerald and Roger.  

Funeral service 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Columbiaville United Methodist Church.  Family and friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.   Memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be made to the Lapeer Pregnancy Center.  Share memories, condolences, and pictures online with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com
