Obituary of Charles Albin Olsson

Charles “Chuck” Olsson 76, of North Branch, MI, died November 12, 2022, at home. 

Chuck was born April 17, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, to Jonas & Florence (Wolfe) Olsson.  He Later married his loving wife Martha McGiverin on December 28, 1973, in Pontiac, Michigan. Chuck was a member of the Kiwanis Club, and North Branch Wesleyan Church where he lead men’s bible study. He worked 30 years in Appraisal/Real estate and had his own building license. Chuck and his wife Martha were Foster parents of 36 children.  He enjoyed woodworking, reading; especially history and biblical stories, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his dear dog Lily. 

Chuck is survived by his wife Martha, foster children: Terry Weeder, Gary Sisk, sister-in-laws: Susan Brail, Trudy Olsson, brother in-law: Rolland McGiverin, nephews: David, Stephen, PJ. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Milton.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Chuck's Life will take place 4:30 PM on Friday, November 18, 2022 at North Branch Wesleyan Church.  Pastor Peter Damaska officiating.  Memorial Contributions my be made North Branch Wesleyan Church and Leader Dog for the Blind, Rochester, MI.  Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
