Obituary of Charles William Tinker

Charles William Tinker, age 104, of Columbiaville died November 17, 2022 at Stonegate Health Campus in Lapeer. 

Charles was born July 13, 1918 in Otter Lake, Michigan to the late Carl and Florence Tinker.  Charles absolutely loved flying and could be seen down at Dupont Airport getting his own plane in and out up to the age of 95.  He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and riding around on his lawnmower.  

Charles is survived by his children: Charlotte Coutcher, Joan (Jim) Gentry, Robert Tinker, Denise Tinker, Dean (Kathy) VanWagnen, Duane (Sally) Gallagher, Barbara Nass, Lyle Gallagher, Judy (Larry) Kavanagh.  He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren, and just a short time away from his first great-great-great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Betty, second wife Mary, third wife Barbara, son William, siblings: Frank, Marian, Janet.  

Cremation has taken place and small graveside service will take place in spring of 2023 at Mt.
