Obituary of Steve Alan Cranick
Steve A. Cranick, age 67, of Columbiaville died November 18, 2022 peacefully with his family by his side.
Steve was born May 31, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to Raymond “Bud” and Betty Cranick. He married Terri L. Milka on February 28, 1976 in Lapeer, Michigan.
Steve owned and operated Steve’s Excavating and was a truck driver for the past 40 years. In his younger years he dabbled in auto racing at Auto City on the dirt track, liked NASCAR, hunting & fishing with family and friends. He loved to be a crew chief at the go-cart track with his grandchildren, he and Terri traveled often to many different states, and would often be spotted on the weekends riding their motorcycles. Most of all Steve loved spending time with his family and friends. Steve was the most generous, caring, thoughtful person. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
Steve is survived by his wife Terri, mother Betty Cranick, children: Jessica (Tedd) Reuschel, Katie (Shawn) Alexander, grandchildren: Megan and Eli Alexander, siblings: Bruce Cranick, Dawn (Art) Lewis, father-in-law Robert Milka, brother & sister in-law’s: Rod & Shelly Diamond, Dave & Patti Milka, Brian & Annette Turner, and Wayne & Sallie Morey. He was preceded in death by his father Bud Cranick and mother-in-law Sandy Milka.
Funeral service 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where family and friends may visit 10:00 AM till time of service. Pastor Ron Hutchinson officiating. Interment Oregon Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family so they can donate to help something special in memory of Steve.
