Obituary of John Michael DiMeglio

John Michael DiMeglio 87, of Otter Lake, MI, died December 7, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones.

John was born October 26, 1935,  in Detroit, Michigan, to the late John & Elizabeth (Ditty) DiMeglio. John was a member of the UAW from a very young age.  He enjoyed playing horseshoes and cornhole. He was a Senior Olympics Ping Pong Champion in Florida, and an avid golfer. Over the years John was an excellent coach for  many baseball & football little leagues. He loved going to the casino and was a well known prankster, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

John is survived by his children: Patricia ( Robert) Brisson, Theresa (Bernard) Mercier, John (Kim) DiMeglio, Dan (Tammy) DiMeglio, Jeff (Kim) DiMeglio, Nick (Shelly) DiMeglio, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Dorothy, second wife Shirley, sisters: Marlene and Sharon. 

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life for John will be held at a later date.  Memorial Contributions in honor of John can be made to the American Red Cross.  Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
