Obituary of Joseph Anthony Santino

Joseph Anthony Santino, age 77, of North Branch died December 17, 2022 with his family beside him at home. 

Joseph was born August 24, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Frank and Sarah [Fulco] Santino.  He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was a member of the North Branch American Legion Post #457.   Joseph retired from General Motors after 39 ½ years of work in 2002.  He enjoyed going out to eat, trips to the casino, watching all kinds of sports on TV, and watching and listening to FOX News.  Most of all Joseph loved spending time with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife Lola, children: Jennifer (Charlie) Sullivan, Darrin, Santino, Michele Cornelius, Kimberly Cornelius, siblings: Jacqueline Dyer, Ralph Santino, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and good friends Dan & Kathy Walker.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Tony, siblings: Louie, Francis, Annie, Mary, and Theresa.      

Funeral service 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville, where family and friends may visit 11:00 AM till time of service.  Pastor Rodney Sanderson-Smith officiating.  Interment West Lawn Cemetery in North Branch, where Joseph will receive military honors under the auspices of NB American Legion Post# 457.  Memorial contributions in memory of Joseph may be made to family.
