Obituary of Melissia Marie Snyder

Melissia (Ferrett) Snyder , age 43, of Attica, died January 11, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. 

Melissia was born November 20, 1979, in Rochester, MI. to Lenny & Susie ( Young) Ferrett. She grew up in Lapeer, MI. where she was a  graduate of Lapeer West High school, class of 1998.  After high school, she was taking classes at Mott Community College. While working in quality control she fell ill.  She struggled for close to 15 years with multiple Meningiomas.  Melissia enjoyed music, her family, animals; her love for her dog, Alice. A special thanks to friends and family who have helped her along her painful journey.
 
Melissia is survived by her parents Suzie & Lenny Ferrett, siblings: Tanya (Wes) Phillips, Scot (Misty) Ferrett, Michelle (John) Ostrowski, Dawn (Matt) Gwyn, grandmother: Joan Ferrett, various aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents: William & Donna Young, Gerald Ferrett, uncle: Jeff Ferrett. 
Cremation has taken place.  A  Celebration of Life for Melissia will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
