Obituary of Herman Caldwell Jr

Herman Caldwell Jr., age 80, of Columbiaville died January 23, 2023 at Brookhaven AFC.

Herman was born May 1, 1942 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Herman Sr. and Lillie [Adkins] Caldwell.  Herman loved working and retired from the Pontiac Motors Plant in 2007 after 42 years with General Motors.  He enjoyed watching the Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. 

Herman is survived by his children: Donna (Ron) Williams, Tammy (Gary) Begeman, Chrystal (Bill) High, siblings: Odell (Wanda) Caldwell, Eugene Caldwell, Pattie (David) Boster, Sandi (Rick) Simonski, 6 grandchildren: Trevor, Trenton (Clare), Alexsis (Rayvon), Tabitha, Mason, Kylee, 2 great-grandchildren: Brielle and one to born soon.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Robert “Bo”, Kevin, siblings: Roberta, Hazel, and Savilla.  

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Herman’s Life will be held 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Columbiaville Community Center.  Memorial contributions may be made to any organization to help animals in memory of Herman.  Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.  Share memories, condolences, and pictures with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com.
