Obituary of Roberta Lee Yandell

Roberta “Pete” Yandell, age 70, of Mayville died March 5, 2023 at McLaren Hospital in Flint. 

Roberta was born September 26, 1952 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Edward and Mildred Smith.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, dancing, playing games on her phone, but most of all she loved spending time with her family & friends. 

Roberta is survived by her children: Russell Sr. (Teody) Ferguson, John III (Donna) Ferguson, Mike (Mary Beth) Ferguson, Lesli (Red) Young, sister-in-law Coralynn Smith, sister-in-heart Ramona McDaniel, 14 grandchildren: Amy, Samantha, Russell Jr, Tristan (Hannah), Travis, Amariah, Cassandra, Alexis, Dylan, Cullen, Caleb, Madilynn, Joshua (Alicia), Crystal (Kenny), 8 great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Malcolm, Micah, Ellis, Annabelle, Sterling, and many nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings: Franklin, Claude, Ronnie, Arlin, Zetta, Peggy, Norma, Sharon, Linda, and son-in-law Terry Vandeloecht.
