I have seen some of my cousin Wendy’s life through the eyes of those she impacted over the last week. They speak of love, authenticity, generosity, integrity, humor, zest. I am proud to share some of the same journey with her. May each of us draw some strength as we go forward. Love one another.
I met Wendy many years ago, when I applied for a cleaning kennel job she had. It took her about a year before she really trusted me. She would have me come over to clean her kennels at some times & later after I left check them out. After awhile I guess she finally realized I was going to be her cleaner always because she come up to me one day & said you know you clean these kennels way better than I do. I ask does this mean I have the job , & she said yes of course. Since then we became pretty close. I guess when she realized I loved the animals as much as she did & more she would say because of how I cleaned them up. I loved Wendy like sister. She was always helping me & always worrying about weather I was ok, Did we have enough to eat. I will tell you one thing Wendy didn't trust very few people, but if she trusted you, you knew she was your true friend. Out of all the years I knew her she only got mad at me once. That was because she was super tired. She apologized later for snapping at me. I loved her smile.I will miss you Wendy always. I love you Wendy. Your friend always, Terry. See you in heaven someday soon. God Bless you my dear sweet friend.
