Keith R. Boring, age 70, of Columbiaville died November 8, 2018 at home with his loving wife beside him.
Keith was born July 8, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the late Chalmers and Arlean Boring.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, and married Sally Kay Passingham on June 22, 1968 in Clawson. Keith was a member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, where he taught Sunday School. He worked the past 15 years for Lakestone Bank & Trust, and enjoyed hunting, collecting model trains, and duck decoys.
Keith is survived by his wife Sally Kay, brother and sister in-laws: Tom Passingham, Sharon Passingham, Carole Stevens, Michael Passingham, Marguery Thompson, close friends: Jim (Carol) McDonald, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother in-law Sally Passingham.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Keith’s life will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, where friends may visit 1 hour prior to services. Pastors Alan Duce and James Sheldrake officiating. Keith’s cremains will be inurned at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorial contributions in memory of Keith may be made to Beulah Beach Scholarship Fund, 6101 West Lake Road, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
