Obituary of Gertrude Edith Morofsky

Gertrude “Gay” Edith Marofsky, age 59, of Warren died February 25, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side.  

Gertrude was born November 12, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Orval and Francis Bush.  She worked at Honey Bee Donuts in Centerline for 15 years, retiring in 2003.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, caring for animals, was known for having a goodtime - especially if jello shots were involved.
She also loved riding on the back of motorcycles, and attended many rally’s.

Gertrude is survived by her children: Tatiana Friant-Brown, Cassandra Morofsky, Jacob Otto, siblings: Orval “Buzz” Bush, William (Judy) Bush, Sidney Bush, grandchildren: Nick, Brooklynn, and 3 others.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved her.  She was preceded in death by parents, and siblings: Richard and Michael.

Cremation and a private celebration of Gertrude’s life has taken place.  Memorial contributions in memory of Gertrude may be made to the Family.
