Joan E. Franklyn-Boglarsky, age 80, of Decker died June 19, 2019 at the United Hospice Residence in Marlette with her family beside her.
Joan was born August 15, 1938 in Royal Oak, Michigan to the late Guy and Ann Franklyn [Krogol]. She retired from Detroit Plastic and Molding in 1989.
Joan enjoyed gardening, all animals, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Joan is survived by her daughter Tammy (Shawn) Papp, siblings: Carol Zimmerman, Patrick (Grace) Franklyn, grandchildren: Jessica (Charlie), Stephen (Megan), Alex, Jordan (Chelste), great-grandchildren: Adiah, Maci, Brock, Beckham, Adeline, Axl, Griffin, many nieces & nephews, and her dog Benny “Barney”. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael, siblings: Sylvia “Dolly” Guy “Flip, Michael, Robert, Jimmy, and Gene.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Joan’s life will take place Noon till 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Sanilac County Evergreen Township Park.
